Mr. Blacketer (KSD) currently teaches 10th grade for Delta High School. What do students say about Mr. Blacketer?
"Mr. Blacketer is an outstanding teacher, not only for his dedication to his students but also for the enthusiasm for the quality of learning. He has helped me go beyond my traditional schooling experience and has guided me towards a greater potential in my own educational path. Along with numerous other opportunities Mr. Blacketer has presented to me, his advice and guidance during NHD proved to be pivotal in my experience. Incorporating NHD into the curriculum for his class, Mr. Blacketer presents it in a humorous yet effective way. He is hard on you sometimes, but this is only to help you grow, not just as a historian but as a person. The knowledge and guidance I have received while working with him during NHD is unparalleled to any. Congratulations Mr. Blacketer!!!" -Alex P, Delta HS Sophomore
"Mr. Blacketer is an outstanding teacher. He meets students where they are academically, and helps them improve. During my NHD process, I met with him numerous times after school to receive advice and mentorship on how to improve my project. He is helpful, encouraging, funny, and kind and that is why I believe he is a worthy recipient of the NHD Teacher of the Year Award." -Abi M, Delta HS Sophomore
Congrats, Mr. Blacketer! We are proud to have you as a member of the Delta Family!
