Around 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 5th, Delta High School administrators were notified about a potential threat to Delta High School that was made on social media. Administrators immediately contacted the Pasco Police Department. PPD was already investigating after receiving a report from a community member and made an arrest later in the evening. Investigators have determined there is no current threat to Delta High School and the school will be operating normally on Friday, March 6th.
We want to thank the community member who reported the information to both the police and to Delta administrators, and to remind everyone that if you see or hear something that is concerning, please report the information immediately to school or district administrators or to the police. The safety of our students and staff members will always be our highest priority.
