We are a small, public high school for students living in the Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco School Districts. At Delta, students are brought together from a variety of backgrounds to create one collaborative community. The faculty is dedicated to creating a highly-personalized, open, and trusting learning environment for all students and their families. Students at Delta are supported by teachers, advisors, and mentors that will network them into the local STEM community and beyond.
The elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are woven into every subject at Delta High School. The study of English Language Arts and Social Studies are integrated with STEM subjects. Students incorporate their learning and engage in inquiry, problem-solving, and project-based learning. Our curriculum is rigorous and made relevant by intensive STEM community involvement. At Delta we rarely hear, “When are we ever going to use this?”
Students at Delta learn together and from each other. They develop academic and personal skills by gaining an understanding of how they learn best, by working in teams, and producing industry-grade individual outcomes.
We are working with our community and partners to provide a small, STEM high school for the students and families of the Tri-Cities, Washington. We endeavor to build and sustain ‘American High School 2.0’. We welcome visitors regularly for site tours and student and educator panels. Please contact Heather Hoppe, Community Coordinator, to schedule your visit.
