Lunch

Delta’s Breakfast and Lunch Programs

Delta’s campus is closed for freshmen and sophomore students.  This means that students must remain on campus for the entire school day.  Junior and senior students are welcome to leave campus during the school day when they do not have a scheduled class.  All students that leave campus are expected to follow school rules while in the community and to return safely and promptly for scheduled activities.

Breakfast and lunch at Delta High School are prepared with care by the Richland School District.  Low fat, nutritious foods are available before school and at midday.  Although Delta’s menu is smaller than the menus found in larger schools, there is plenty of variety, choice, and zest on our menu.  All students are welcome to bring their own lunches to school and are expected to clean up after themselves.  Table manners are encouraged and food is not intentionally wasted at Delta High School.

Students may pay cash for meals or can establish a charge account with a secure PIN number to purchase meals.  Checks and cash are acceptable forms of payment.  Checks can be made out to the Richland School District.

Many of our students qualify for federal assistance in paying for breakfast and lunch.  Forms for each district are sent home each fall in the mail and/or can be picked up at Delta High School.  If your family’s financial situation should change at any time during the school year, federal assistance can be requested.  Please contact the main office for help or information.
